This Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use your Personal Information when you visit our website at https://salesindex.ai or otherwise use the Platform as described further in the Terms of Service, and that you may provide in electronic messages to SalesIndex.

Please read this Privacy Policy to understand our policies and practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will handle it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree and consent to this Privacy Policy.

SalesIndex may change this Privacy Policy at any time, at its discretion. Your continued use of the Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of and consent to those changes, so please check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

This Privacy Policy is subject to and governed by the SalesIndex Terms of Service. The Services are part of the Platform and are described further in the Terms of Service.

2. The Types of Information That SalesIndex Collects About You

SalesIndex may collect two types of information from you when you visit the Platform: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information (collectively "Information").

"Personal Information" refers to data by which you may be personally identified, such as name, email address, employer, job title and department, and telephone number.

"Non-Personal Information" means data that is about you, but does not identify you specifically. If you do nothing during your visit to our Platform but browse, read pages, or view content, we will gather and store Information about your visit that does not identify you personally.

We collect Information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us. When you subscribe to a newsletter, create an account, make a purchase or request information from SalesIndex, we will ask for things like your name, contact, billing, shipping and communication information, and account ID or credentials in order to fulfill your request. If you set up an appointment with us through the Platform, attend a trade show or event, or otherwise contact us, you may also voluntarily provide similar information.
  • From third parties. We obtain information through partners, vendors, suppliers and other third parties including advertising and marketing companies, data vendors, public database providers, social media platforms, partners, and providers of products or services. We take steps to confirm that information we receive has been collected with your consent or that these parties are otherwise legally permitted to disclose your Personal Information to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the Platform. With your consent, we collect information about how you interact with the Platform through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies. See Section 5 for details on the specific tools we use and how to control them.

3. How SalesIndex Uses Personal Information

We use Personal Information that we collect about you or that you provide to us for the following purposes:

  • For Functionality and Development of the Platform and SalesIndex Services. We use information to provide, offer, and personalize the Platform. Some information, like your IP address, is used to communicate with your device to provide network connectivity, measure usage levels, diagnose server problems and provide security features. Some Platform features may leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance performance capabilities. We do NOT retain Personal Information to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, including user data provided via third party APIs.
  • For Customer Support, Platform Updating and Reporting. We rely on information to analyze performance and improve and maintain the Platform, and to provide you with customer support.
  • For Business Operations. We use information to operate our business; for example, to perform accounting, auditing, billing, reconciliation, and collection activities, as well as crime or fraud monitoring and prevention, protecting our legal rights, and performing contractual obligations.
  • To Communicate. We use contact information to send messages, provide SalesIndex Services, respond to customer service requests, provide alerts, and send marketing materials in accordance with your communication preferences.
  • For Advertising and Marketing. We may use Personal Information combined with information about what advertisements you viewed to provide personalized content and study the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • For Statistical Purposes. We use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the Platform and our Services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your Personal Information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you — subject to confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

Our current service providers (processors) include:

  • HighLevel (LeadConnector) — customer relationship management, appointment scheduling, forms, and email/SMS communications. Information you submit through our forms or scheduler is stored in HighLevel.
  • Objective Management Group (OMG) — delivery and scoring of sales assessments.
  • Stripe — payment processing. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional email delivery.
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) and Apollo.io — analytics and marketing, only with your consent (see Section 5).
  • Base44 — application hosting, database, and authentication.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking Technologies

When you first visit the Platform, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are used. No analytics or marketing trackers load until you make a choice, and your choice is remembered on your device. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting in the footer of any page.

We use the following categories:

  • Essential. Required for the Platform to function, such as remembering your cookie preference, keeping you signed in, and securing forms and checkout. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use the Platform, and our hosting provider's built-in analytics to measure form submissions. Loaded only if you choose "Analytics Only" or "Accept All."
  • Marketing and Advertising. Apollo.io website visitor identification, and Google advertising features (ad personalization and conversion measurement). Loaded only if you choose "Accept All."
  • Embedded third-party tools. Our appointment scheduler and certain forms are provided by HighLevel (LeadConnector). When you view a page containing one of these embeds, HighLevel may set its own cookies within that embed to make the scheduler or form work. These are governed by HighLevel's privacy policy.

We honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal where required by law. If you choose "Essential Only," analytics and marketing cookies previously set by our tools are cleared where we control them.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your Personal Information; object to processing; or receive a portable copy of your information. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions in those communications or by contacting us. We will respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Notice for California and Other U.S. State Residents — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

SalesIndex does not sell your Personal Information for money. However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and similar state laws, allowing advertising and analytics providers such as Google and Apollo.io to collect identifiers through cookies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can opt out of this sharing at any time in either of the following ways:

  • Select and choose "Essential Only" or "Analytics Only." Marketing and advertising trackers will not load.
  • Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing and will not enable advertising trackers even if "Accept All" is selected.

You may also exercise your rights to know, delete, correct, or limit the use of sensitive Personal Information, or designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, by emailing privacy@salesindex.ai or through our contact page. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child without parental consent, we will delete that information.

10. International Users

If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfer.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
